PROGRAM INTRODUCTION

Al-Taqwa Institute of Higher Education proudly established The Department of Political Science and International Relations in the Faculty of Law and Political Science in 1390. It intends to provide sufficient professional human resources for the country's political and administrative arena. Over the years, the Department has focused on teaching and researching the pattern of International Politics from a historical and empirical perspective. It is considered one of the country's largest departments with highly qualified and dedicated lecturers.

Program’s Vision and Mission

Political Science and International Relations

To achieve the requirements of the bachelor's degree in Political Science and International Relations every student must complete a minimum of (17) and a maximum of (21) credits in one semester in the relevant subjects. The Administration and Diplomacy Department’s academic period consists of eight semesters; the first two years (Four Semesters) are general, and the last two years (Four Semesters) are professional and the total credits are (168) to follow.

The Department of Political Science and International Relations intends to be recognized as a standard program in political science and international relations at the national and regional level based on its academic activities.

Mission

The Department of Political Science and International Relations trains expert, committed, and professional academics in Political Science and International Relations by creating an academic environment according to Islamic rules and Afghan culture to provide services to society.
