The Faculty of Economics held an event where students were congratulated on their participation and received their completion certificates.

Forty-two (42) graduating students from the economics faculty received their certificates issued by Peregrine Global Services on August 17, 2022. The students have gone through an online comprehensive outbound external assessment with Peregrine Global Services.   For nearly 20 years, the Peregrine Global Services team has developed and provided high-quality, comprehensive solutions for higher education, industry, and individuals. It will also help the students understand that their knowledge and competencies are very good, especially as compared to the world and Asia. The students will get this confidence that what they learn is of very good quality and they can see that the assessment exam results prove that.   Additionally, the External Exam results will give us another level of proof that we are providing quality education to our students. For example, if we are asked, “ How do you know the quality of the education you are delivering to your students?” In our response, we can share our global assessment exam results which show that our students’ knowledge was tested at the same level as the average of other regions in the world. We at Al-Taqwa Institute of Higher Education are committed to taking further solid steps working towards better recognition and acceptance of educational programs degrees globally. This is one of the innovative initiatives that the economics faculty has taken toward standardization and globalization.

Academic tour to The University of Sayed Jamaluddin Afghani in Kunar Province

An Academic tour to The University of Sayed Jamaluddin Afghani in Kunar Province On the bases of the assigned (MOU) with the mentioned University, a number of lecturers alongside the chancellor and VC Academic Chancellor of Al-Taqwa Institute of Higher Education went on an academic tour to The University of Sayed Jamaluddin Afghani in Kunar Province. After arriving at the university, they were warmly welcomed by the Chancellor, VC Finance and Administration, and the Deans of the faculties of Sayed Jamaluddin Afghani University. Later on, they had a short introductory meeting which started with the recitation of a few verses from the Holy Quran. Prof. Mohibullah Mohib, Chancellor of Sayed Jamaluddin Afghani University, while introducing his staff, expressed his happiness about the Memorandum of Understanding with a prestigious academic private institute of higher education of Al-Taqwa; also he talked about how important this MOU, explained the effectiveness of this educational tour. Furthermore, Mr. Khushal Jawad, Chancellor of Al-Taqwa Institute of Higher Education, introduced the mentioned representative of (ATIHE), who was also on this academic trip with him. Alongside thanking the leadership of the university for being fully committed to the implementation of the signed (MOU), Mr. Jawad clarified the value of cooperation between the private sector and the government. He said, “This academic tour is a good example of the commitment of both sides.” He also assured that such programs would be ongoing. Moreover, Dr. Abdul Hameed Seerat, VC Academic Chancellor of Al-Taqwa Institute of Higher Education, provided the participants with a comprehensive presentation about the history, academic and scientific activities of (ATIHE), and in meanwhile, Dr. Waseem Zaland, head of the Research Committee of Sayed Jamaluddin Afghani University, also gave an inclusive presentation about the history, academic and scientific activities Sayed Jamaluddin Afghani University…; and they were delivered with the wide-ranging information about each of the above offices. Finally, in accordance with the agenda, the stated representatives Al-Taqwa Institute of Higher Education, visited different offices, faculties, computer labs, the campus, committees, the research center, and other related academic sites of Sayed Jamaluddin Afghani University. Al-Taqwa Institute of Higher Education is committed to working for the capacity building of its all staff and providing its students with quality education.

Held a Two-day Joint International Conference with OM Sterling Global University (OSGU) of India.

Al-Taqwa Institute of Higher Education held a Two-day Joint International Conference with OM Sterling Global University (OSGU) of India. Al-Taqwa Institute of Higher Education organized a two-day academic international conference under the title of (IMPACT OF INNOVATION & TECHNOLOGY ON ECO-SYSTEM FOR INCLUSIVE GROWTH) based on the assigned Memorandum of Understanding with (OSGU). This online and in person conference was attended by researchers, professors, and critics from different countries, where researchers presented 56 research papers to the participants. While opening the conference, Dr. Ajay Poddar, the academic vice chancellor of the (OSGU), expressed his gratitude to Al-Taqwa Institute of Higher Education for managing and controlling the conference in Afghanistan. Furthermore, Mr. Abdul Hameed Seerat, Academic Vice Chancellor of (ATIHE), talked about the value and importance of the conference. Mr. Seerat thanked all those who actively attended online and in person, and appreciated the Chancellor, Pro-Chancellor, faculty, and all the staff of (OSGU) for preparing the conference; he also wished to have more academic conferences together in the coming future. In addition, Mr. Sayed Abdul Moiz Mirzad, Dean of the Economics Faculty of (ATIHE), inclusively explained the activities, and achievements of (ATIHE) both at the national and international levels and admires the hardworking of (OSGU) regarding the conference. Moreover, Mr. Fawad Aryan, a lecturer at (ATIHE), briefly described the history, vision, mission, academic programs, Diploma programs, social activities, and other practical programs of Al-Taqwa Institute of Higher Education. It is worth mentioning that, Assistant Professor Mr. Irfanullah Stankaiz hosted the conference here online in Afghanistan along with other respected lectures of Al-Taqwa Institute of Higher Education, such as Mr. Hayatullah Ashna, Ahmad Neshat Keliwal, Mr. Niaz Mohammd Hamdar, Niatmatullah Hayat, Israrullah Samim, Shakirullah Fana, and IT Officer, Mr. Yaqoob Salarzai. Furthermore, Professor. Dr. Jehad Husain, Professor. Waheed Safi and Professor Wasiq Ullah Hamdar, presented their research papers which were well-appreciated by the participants. In short, Al-Taqwa Institute of Higher Education has always taken productive steps to provide Afghan youths with quality education and has always made tireless efforts in the field of educational promotion and capacity building of its students. (ATIHE) Participates in the United Nations’ 3RD Open Science International Conference.

Dr. Sayed Abdul Moiz, Al-Taqwa Institute Of Higher Education’s Dean Of The Faculty Of Economics Along With His Faculty Leadership And A Number Of Lecturers From The Said Faculty Participated In The United Nations’ 3rd “Open Science International Conference” Accelerating The Sustainable Development Goals & Democratizing The Record Of Science On Feb 8-10, 2023. Mr. Hayatullah Ashan (Deputy Dean), Mr. Ulfatullah Kotwal (HoD, BBA), Mr. Waseequllah Hamdard (HoD, BSc.Economics), Mr. Jehad Hussain (Head, R&D), Mr. Rahimullah Bismil (Lecturer) And Mr. Niamatullah Hayat (Lecturer) Were The Participants In The Conference From Afghanistan. On 23 November 2021, Following An Inclusive, Transparent, And Multi-Stakeholder Consultative Process, UNESCO’s Recommendation On Open Science Was Adopted By 193 Member States During The 41st Session Of The Organization’s General Conference. “This Recommendation Outlines A Common Definition, Shared Values, Principles, And Standards For Open Science At The International Level And Proposes A Set Of Actions Conducive To A Fair And Equitable Operationalization Of Open Science For All At The Individual, Institutional, National, Regional, And International Levels. From 8 To 10 February 2023, The 3rd Open Science Conference Brought Together Policymakers, Representatives Of Intergovernmental Organizations, Researchers, Scholars, Librarians, Publishers, And Civil Society. Under The Theme ‘’Accelerating The Sustainable Development Goals, Democratizing The Record Of Science’’ They Engaged In A Dialogue About The Opportunities And Challenges Of Practicing Open Science And Explore Initiatives, Themes, And Perspectives Into The Open Scientific Method And The Digital Scholarly Communications Cycle. Under The Three Main Themes: ·        Equity In Open Scholarship, ·        Reforming Scientific Publishing, And ·        Strengthening The Science-Policy-Society Interface Conference Registrants Were Able To Participate In Discussions About The Present And Future Of Open Science Practices For The SDGs And Reaffirm That Scientific Progress And Its Applications Are For The Benefit Of All. Al-Taqwa Institute Of Higher Education Recognizes That Achieving Sustainable Development Goals Is Essential To Our Students, Community, And Ultimately, Our Future Success.
