ATIHE Signs an MoU with Nangarhar Cricket Academy

Al-Taqwa Institute of Higher Education and Nangarhar Cricket Academy recently signed a joint Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The signing of the MoU marks the beginning of a promising collaboration. By leveraging their respective strengths, both sides aim to enhance the cricketing experience of Al-Taqwa's cricket team and promote academic opportunities for aspiring cricketers. This partnership is expected to create a conducive environment for sports and education, fostering the growth of cricket and nurturing talents in the region. The MoU was signed between the University Level Sports Committee, led by the Vice-Chancellor of Student Affairs at Al-Taqwa Higher Education Institution, and Mr. Nimatullah Alam, the General Manager of Nangarhar Cricket Academy.  Under the MoU, Nangarhar Cricket Academy will provide its cricket stadium to the cricket team of ATIHE for hosting cricket matches. This collaboration will enable Al-Taqwa's cricket team to access high-quality playing facilities. Nangarhar Cricket Academy will extend its expertise to train the cricket team of Al-Taqwa Institute of Higher Education in various cricket-related techniques. As part of the agreement, Al-Taqwa Institute of Higher Education will offer diverse educational scholarships in undergraduate and short-term programs. This initiative seeks to support the holistic development of talented individuals associated with Nangarhar Cricket Academy, fostering educational opportunities alongside their sporting endeavors.

The Professional Development Center at ATIHE Provides a Complex Workshop!

A one-day complex workshop was conducted by the Professional Development Center at Al-Taqwa Institute of Higher Education, targeting both graduates and current students. The workshop aimed to enhance the participant's skills and knowledge in various areas. The event commenced with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran. Mr. Abdul Aziz Himat, the In-charge of the Professional Development Center, delivered an opening speech, emphasizing Al-Taqwa Institute of Higher Education's commitment to improving the capabilities of its undergraduates and alumni. He highlighted the significance of the workshop and indicated that similar workshops would be organized in the future. Mr. Himat encouraged students to actively engage in practical programs and workshops alongside their classroom learning. The workshop was divided into two distinct parts, each focusing on different topics and led by subject matter experts. Part 1: Legal Documents: Mr. Badam Gul Rahimi, a respected lecturer from the Faculty of Law and Political Science, delivered an informative session on legal documents. Mr. Rahimi provided a detailed explanation of various aspects, including writing a legal petition, filing and defending lawsuits, court decisions, and other related topics. Participants gained valuable insights into the legal procedures and documentation required in the field. Part 2: Basic Skills to Get a Job: Mr. Nasir Khan Jamal, the Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs at Al-Taqwa Institute of Higher Education, conducted the second part of the workshop, titled "Basic Skills to Get a Job." Mr. Jamal outlined essential skills necessary for securing employment, covering areas such as professional CV and resume writing, crafting effective cover letters, honing public speaking abilities, mastering professional email etiquette, and methods for identifying suitable job opportunities. The session concluded with an interactive Q&A session, where participants had the opportunity to seek clarification and guidance.   Maulvi Sahib Islamuddin Munib delivered a closing prayer, expressing gratitude for the successful completion of the workshop and seeking blessings for the participants' future endeavors.

A Seminar on Exchange Rate Determination Delivered!

The Bachelor in Finance Department of the Faculty of Economics at Al-Taqwa Institute of Higher Education organized a seminar under the title of (Exchange Rate Determination) for its students. The seminar commenced with a recitation of verses from the Holy Quran and was attended by Dr. Fathullah Shinwari, the assistant dean of the Economics faculty. Dr. Shinwari acknowledged the significance of such seminars in students' academic journey and expressed gratitude to the seminar presenter.  Furthermore, Mr. Muhammad Salim Naimi, a lecturer at the Faculty of Economics, delivered an informative presentation during the seminar. He covered various aspects, including the characteristics of exchange rates and factors influencing them, such as humanitarian aid, government initiatives to promote the local currency, and measures to prevent foreign currency smuggling. The seminar concluded with an interactive session where students posed questions related to the topic, which were answered in detail by the presenter.

Al-Taqwa Institute of Higher Education Launches Book-Reading Exhibition

Al-Taqwa Higher Education Institution (ATIHE) organized a book-reading exhibition titled "Read, Donate, and Empower,” aimed at fostering the reading culture within society.  The exhibition, which took place from November 23, 2023, to November 24, 2023, encouraged attendees to not only engage in reading but also contribute to the cause by donating books. The leadership of ATIHE generously provided a substantial number of books to ensure that others could access and benefit from them. Additionally, numerous students and avid readers participated in the exhibition, demonstrating their commitment to knowledge-sharing by generously contributing dozens of their favorite books for the benefit of others. This event highlights the commitment of ATIHE to the capacity building of its students and the development of the community.

ATIHE honored graduates who entered Nangarhar University's Master's program in 1402

Al-Taqwa Institute of Higher Education held a grand ceremony to honor the graduates who successfully passed to the Master's program at Nangarhar University in 1402. The event commenced with a recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by an opening speech delivered by Mr. Khushal Jawad, the esteemed Chancellor of Al-Taqwa Institute of Higher Education. The ceremony aimed to recognize the achievements of these students and inspire them to pursue further success in their future endeavors. Mr. Khushal Jawad expressed his pride in the graduates' accomplishments and emphasized the commitment of Al-Taqwa Institute of Higher Education to fostering a promising future for its students. He extended his heartfelt congratulations to the students for their admission to the Master's program at Nangarhar University and encouraged them to strive for excellence in their academic journey. Moreover, Dr. Abdul Hameed Seerat, the Vice Chancellor of Academic Affairs at Al-Taqwa Institute of Higher Education, addressed the students and urged them to exert their utmost efforts in their Master's studies, just as they had done during their Bachelor's program. He conveyed his best wishes for their continued success in their academic pursuits and beyond. Furthermore, Mr. Nasir Khan Jamal, the Vice Chancellor of Students Affairs, expressed gratitude to the students for their diligent commitment to their responsibilities, resulting in their successful achievement to the Master's program at Nangarhar University. He emphasized the strong bond between Al-Taqwa Institute of Higher Education, its students, and alumni. Mr. Jamal highlighted the institution's dedication to providing comprehensive support and facilities, such as an in-person library, electronic library, and computer lab, accessible to all students and alumni.   Representing the graduates, Mr. Muhammad Imran conveyed his heartfelt appreciation to Al-Taqwa Institute of Higher Education for its unwavering support and encouragement extended to its graduates and current students. The ceremony concluded with the distribution of certificates of appreciation to the students who successfully passed the Master's degree program examination at Nangarhar University. 

The Academic Article of "Taliban Government and Its Efforts for Global Recognition" has been published!

We are pleased to announce that Mr. Khushal Jawad, the honored Chancellor, and Dr. Bakhtyar Halimi, a distinguished lecturer at Al-Taqwa Institute of Higher Education, have jointly published an academic article titled "Taliban Government and Its Efforts for Global Recognition" in a prestigious international journal. This publication aligns with the Ministry of Higher Education's legal document, the Ministry's strategic plan, the second standard of Quality Assurance and Accreditation (Contribution to Society and Development), and the sixth standard of Quality Assurance and Accreditation (Research). Furthermore, it is in line with two of the five parts of the strategic plan of Al-Taqwa Institute of Higher Education, namely research and carrying out international activities. As an institution, we feel a sense of responsibility to provide unwavering support to our esteemed lecturers in their research endeavors and academic article writing. We consistently encourage our faculty members to strive for excellence in these areas.
