The PDC Center at ATIHE Empowers Faculty and Staff with Successful Research Skills Development Workshop

The Professional Development Center (PDC) at Al-Taqwa Institute of Higher Education (ATIHE) organized a seven-day workshop on Successful Research Skills Development. The workshop aimed to enhance the research capabilities of lecturers and administrative staff at ATIHE. The workshop began with a recitation of a few verses from the Holy Quran, followed by the opening speech of Mr. Khushal Jawad, the Chancellor of ATIHE. He delivered an insightful speech emphasizing the complexity of the research process and the importance of acquiring diverse skills for successful research. Mr. Jawad highlighted the significance of active participation in such workshops, as they contribute significantly to the capacity building of the faculty and administrative staff at ATIHE. Moreover, Mr. Mohammad Naseer Haidari conducted the workshop, covering the following topics: 1.      Topic Selection for Research Proposal 2.      Research Title Writing 3.      Hypothesis Development 4.      Types of Research 5.      Abstract Writing for Research The workshop included an interactive question and answer session, providing participants with the opportunity to seek clarification on the discussed topics. Mr. Haidari responded to the questions raised, ensuring a thorough understanding of the workshop content. Finally, Mr. Abdul Hameed Seerat, the Vice-Chancellor of Academic Affairs at ATIHE, expressed gratitude to Mr. Haidari for his comprehensive workshop. He emphasized the importance of individual capacity development for both employees and the overall improvement of the institute. Mr. Seerat encouraged all participants to apply the acquired knowledge and skills in their research endeavors. At the end of the workshop, participants were awarded certificates of participation as recognition of their active engagement and commitment to professional development. Inclusive Religious Address Delivered to ATIHE Students by Dawa Irshad and Islamic Culture Department Representative

A comprehensive devotional lecture was conducted jointly by the Ministry of Higher Education's Dawa Irshad and Islamic Culture Department and Al-Taqwa Institute of Higher Education in collaboration with Nangarhar University. The session was attended by a distinguished group including Mr. Ismail Saqib, the Head of Dawa Irshad and Islamic Culture Department from the Ministry of Higher Education, Mr. Naqeebullah Mutmain, Head of Dawa Irshad and Islamic Culture Department at Al-Taqwa Institute of Higher Education, a number of lecturers, and students from both faculties, aimed to provide students with a profound understanding of religious principles and practices. The event commenced with the recitation of a few verses from the Holy Quran, followed by an enlightening address by Mr. Naqeebullah Mutmain. He emphasized the significance and advantages of acquiring a broad understanding of religious teachings, asserting that every Muslim should strive to grasp the principles of Sharia and actively transmit them to others. It was further emphasized that, alongside contemporary education, ample time should be dedicated to the study of Shariah and religious education, equipping ourselves and our families with a sound knowledge of Islamic principles. Subsequently, Mr. Ismail Saqib delivered a comprehensive devotional lesson, delving into Islamic ethics, the importance of faithfulness, the significance of adhering to Islamic attire, the obedience to the Prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him), and the principles governing a righteous way of life. He offered guidance to the students on exhibiting good conduct, extending kindness towards others, nurturing love for one's homeland, and underscored the value of time management, among other pertinent topics.   This gathering served as a valuable platform for fostering a deeper understanding of religious teachings and reinforcing ethical principles among the students, empowering them to become well-rounded individuals who can contribute positively to both their communities and society at large.
