Higher Education conducted an inspection of the Al-Taqwa Institute of Higher Education.

According to a letter dated 1402/8/20 (710/595) from the Department of QAAD, the delegation consisted of respected members including Mr. Shakir Wahidi, Head of the Department of QAAD; Professor Dr. Amanullah Faqiri, Member of the Board of the QAAD; Assistant Professor Muhammad Sharif Umarzi, Member of the Board of the QAAD; Associate Professor Rizwanullah Mamlawal, Member of the Professional Review of the QAAD; and Mr. Naeemullah Momand, Quality Assurance Officer of Higher Education Institutions. These members review of all documents related to the chancellor, vice-chancellors, faculties, departments, and main and sub-committees of the institution, based on the quality assurance and credibility improvement checklist. The delegation initially met with the leadership of the Al-Taqwa Institute of Higher Education. They were welcomed by the chancellor, Khushal Jawad, who provided a brief overview of the institution's areas and achievements, as well as the latest developments. Mr. Jawad expressed confidence that the institution operates in accordance with the legal documents and quality assurance standards set by the Ministry of Higher Education in all areas. Subsequently, a video presentation by engineer Fida Muhammad showcased the technical and structural aspects of the university's new building. The video covered the entire university campus, including floors, classroom structures, library, computer lab, green areas, the mosque, and other relevant parts. Following the review of all documents related to the chancellor, vice-chancellors, faculties, departments, and main and sub-committees of the institution, according to the quality assurance checklist, the delegation from the Ministry of Higher Education expressed satisfaction.  The Head of QAAD, Ustad Shakir Wahidi, and the board members also visited practical program centers, administrative offices, libraries, classrooms, academic and administrative activities, and infrastructure areas of the organization, and expressed their contentment. After the visit, Head of QAAD, Ustad Shakir Wahidi, noted that ATIHE has made significant efforts in the field of quality assurance. He explained that quality assurance consists of three stages: the visit stage, where institution-related documents and evidence are reviewed; the pre-recruitment stage, where faculty documents and evidence are also examined in relation to the institution; and the review stage, in which all institution-related documents, including those of faculties, departments, and other relevant areas, are assessed based on the checklist. He concluded by commending all aspects of ATIHE and expressing hope for further innovations and developments. Professor Amanullah Faqiri delivered a speech praising the dedication and talent of the entire working team at Al-Taqwa Institute of Higher Education, which was reflected in the reviewed documents. Associate Professor Rizwanullah Mamlawal also commended the work done and provided necessary instructions in various fields to facilitate further progress. Assistant Professor Mohammad Sharif Omarzai acknowledged that both positive and negative aspects can be found in any work. He emphasized appreciating the positives and offering guidance to address any negative points. In conclusion, the chancellor of ATIHE, Mr. Khushal Jawad, expressed gratitude to the delegation for reviewing all departments and affairs of the institution. He acknowledged that quality assurance is a challenging and complex process, and while there may be problems and shortcomings, the institution is committed to making every effort to succeed and achieve quality assurance. He assured that the institution's teams will strive to overcome challenges and succeed in this process. Furthermore, Dr. Abdul Hameed Seerat, Vice-chancellor of Academic Affairs at ATIHE, presented several suggestions to the delegation regarding leadership, scientific, administrative, and other related fields. The delegation members responded positively and stated that they would consider these suggestions in the future.

The Cultural Committee at ATIHE Celebrates International Student Day

The cultural committee at Al-Taqwa Higher Education Institution organized a wonderful ceremony to solemnize International Student Day. The event took place in the conference hall of the institute and was attended by esteemed guests, including the founder of ATIHE, Engineer Amanullah Aman, the vice-founder, Mr. Noman Shinwari, the honorable Chancellor of ATIHE, Mr. Khushal Jawad, the Vice-Chancellor of Student Affairs, Mr. Nasir Khan Jamal, the Chancellor of Finance and Administrative Affairs, Mr. Wasiqullah Hamdard, respected deans of faculties, faculty members, administrative staff, and a multitude of students. The program commenced with the recitation of a few verses from the Holy Quran. Later on, Mr. Khushal Jawad, the Chancellor of ATIHE, delivered the opening speech, extending his congratulations to the students on International Student Day. He emphasized the importance of the occasion and encouraged students to embrace their responsibilities and focus on their studies, with the aim of becoming valuable contributors to the nation and its people in the future. Moreover, Mr. Nasir Khan Jamal, the Vice-Chancellor of Students' Affairs at ATIHE, also addressed the audience, congratulating the students on their day. He highlighted the qualities of a commendable student and encouraged them to seize the opportunities available to them, both in their academic pursuits and in working towards the development of the country. Furthermore, Masihullah Abdullahzai, representing the school students, delivered a message of congratulations to all the students on International Student Day, further fostering a sense of unity and camaraderie among the attendees. As part of the celebrations, students from a local school presented a captivating song titled "Student." Their performance showcased the talent and creativity of the students, evoking a sense of pride and celebration. The event also featured a thought-provoking theatrical play by Nangarhar theater actors, which emphasized the significance of International Student Day and the pivotal role of students in shaping the future. The play underscored the importance of education and knowledge in society, leaving a lasting impact on the audience. To promote positive thinking among students, an interactive game titled "Positive Thinking" was organized. The game aimed to replace negative thoughts with positive ones, encouraging a constructive mindset for personal and academic growth.   In the concluding part of the event, the best students of the year 1402 from both faculties were recognized and rewarded for their outstanding academic achievements. This recognition served as an inspiration for all students to strive for excellence in their studies.

ATIHE Signs an MoU with Nangarhar Cricket Academy

Al-Taqwa Institute of Higher Education and Nangarhar Cricket Academy recently signed a joint Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The signing of the MoU marks the beginning of a promising collaboration. By leveraging their respective strengths, both sides aim to enhance the cricketing experience of Al-Taqwa's cricket team and promote academic opportunities for aspiring cricketers. This partnership is expected to create a conducive environment for sports and education, fostering the growth of cricket and nurturing talents in the region. The MoU was signed between the University Level Sports Committee, led by the Vice-Chancellor of Student Affairs at Al-Taqwa Higher Education Institution, and Mr. Nimatullah Alam, the General Manager of Nangarhar Cricket Academy.  Under the MoU, Nangarhar Cricket Academy will provide its cricket stadium to the cricket team of ATIHE for hosting cricket matches. This collaboration will enable Al-Taqwa's cricket team to access high-quality playing facilities. Nangarhar Cricket Academy will extend its expertise to train the cricket team of Al-Taqwa Institute of Higher Education in various cricket-related techniques. As part of the agreement, Al-Taqwa Institute of Higher Education will offer diverse educational scholarships in undergraduate and short-term programs. This initiative seeks to support the holistic development of talented individuals associated with Nangarhar Cricket Academy, fostering educational opportunities alongside their sporting endeavors.

The Professional Development Center at ATIHE Provides a Complex Workshop!

A one-day complex workshop was conducted by the Professional Development Center at Al-Taqwa Institute of Higher Education, targeting both graduates and current students. The workshop aimed to enhance the participant's skills and knowledge in various areas. The event commenced with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran. Mr. Abdul Aziz Himat, the In-charge of the Professional Development Center, delivered an opening speech, emphasizing Al-Taqwa Institute of Higher Education's commitment to improving the capabilities of its undergraduates and alumni. He highlighted the significance of the workshop and indicated that similar workshops would be organized in the future. Mr. Himat encouraged students to actively engage in practical programs and workshops alongside their classroom learning. The workshop was divided into two distinct parts, each focusing on different topics and led by subject matter experts. Part 1: Legal Documents: Mr. Badam Gul Rahimi, a respected lecturer from the Faculty of Law and Political Science, delivered an informative session on legal documents. Mr. Rahimi provided a detailed explanation of various aspects, including writing a legal petition, filing and defending lawsuits, court decisions, and other related topics. Participants gained valuable insights into the legal procedures and documentation required in the field. Part 2: Basic Skills to Get a Job: Mr. Nasir Khan Jamal, the Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs at Al-Taqwa Institute of Higher Education, conducted the second part of the workshop, titled "Basic Skills to Get a Job." Mr. Jamal outlined essential skills necessary for securing employment, covering areas such as professional CV and resume writing, crafting effective cover letters, honing public speaking abilities, mastering professional email etiquette, and methods for identifying suitable job opportunities. The session concluded with an interactive Q&A session, where participants had the opportunity to seek clarification and guidance.   Maulvi Sahib Islamuddin Munib delivered a closing prayer, expressing gratitude for the successful completion of the workshop and seeking blessings for the participants' future endeavors.
